What is a Serviced Residence?

A serviced residence is a rental facility, like a hotel, where a paying guest can stay for a few days or a few weeks depending on the nature and purpose of his visit. Sometimes referred to as serviced apartments, these accommodation facilities are gradually emerging as the most trendy place to stay for both corporate and leisure travelers today.

What is the difference between a Hotel and a Serviced residence?

Serviced residences are usually 30% to 50% less expensive when you compare them to hotels. This is because the pricing structure of serviced residences is based on longer duration stays thus resulting in significantly higher occupancy ratios.

The second most important difference between a serviced residences and a hotel is that you can cook your own food in a serviced residences when you choose to do so.  Hotels generally do not allow a guest to cook in the room except in cases where the hotel owns and operates its own serviced apartments in addition to regular rooms.

What are the standard appliances in the kitchenette?

The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave oven, an exhaust fan, a sink,   a kettle and dining utensils. At a minimal cost, the guest can avail of a stove and cooking utensils.

Serviced residences are operated much like hotels – a guest reserves a room by calling or filling a website reservation form.

Is there a check-in and check-out schedule?


Check in schedule is 2 pm and check-out time is 12 noon. Early check-in and extensions are allowed subject to availability of the rooms.
